EMo Business Network

In the coming years, a large number of antiquated industrial furnaces or entire production lines in the steel, forging, iron and non-ferrous metal industry will be in need of repair and modernisation using energy-efficient techniques.

Under the brand name of EMo – Energy-optimised Modernisation of Industrial Furnaces – eight professional partners have joined forces to form a business network which offers products and services in this area. GIWEP is one of the partners in this network.

The benefits of the EMo Network are, amongst others, its holistic view of energy-optimised modernisation and a step-by-step approach, coupled with comprehensive project management.

Another advantage of the network is the uncomplicated handling of the interfaces between mechanics – electrics – heating – fireproofing – process control – logistics. Plant operators who use the EMo service acquire the status of "green plant operator".
