At the end of the year 2019 GIWEP has completed the R&D project "vTM" (virtual temperature measurement technique) that has been subsidized by the "Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand". "vTM" utilizes the manifold process information that is available at a furnace in order to determine and monitor the temperature field inside the furnace beyond the installed temperature sensors. The results of the project will be incorporated into both the extension of existing L2 systems and the implementation of further L2 systems.
